WHAT TO SUBMIT

Submission requirements

  • Submissions must be original, unpublished work and not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

  • Papers should include sufficient detail to allow for a thorough evaluation of the research's rigor and reproducibility.

  • The title and claims of the paper should align with the conducted evaluation and obtained results. Overly broad titles are discouraged.

  • Results should be validated using a prototype or test-bed system (but need not be tested in a commercial environment).

  • The contribution of the paper should be clearly articulated, usually in the introduction.

  • Authors are encouraged to enhance the accessibility of their papers by including graphical descriptions or adding 1-2 pages of appendix content, for example. However, reviewers are not obligated to read the appendices, and therefore the paper’s central thesis should be understandable without them.

Format

Papers should be written in English and no less than 4 pages in length. Please refer to the following manuscript templates to ensure that your paper meets the conference's formatting requirements.

Length

Authors are encouraged to submit a paper of length proportional to its contributions. A typical paper length is expected to be approximately 3,000-6,000 words of primary content (including figures and tables but excluding references). All papers should be no less than 4 pages. Papers whose lengths are incommensurate with their contributions will be considered for desk rejection.

Evaluation Criteria

Submissions will be peer reviewed by 2-3 reviewers. In general, papers will be judged on technical merit, accessibility to developers and researchers, originality, presentation, impact, and significance. Submissions do not need to score well in all of these categories.

No Show Policy

If the author(s) of an accepted paper does not attend and present their work at CVML 2025, their manuscript will be classified as a No-Show paper and will not be published.

For further information on preparing or submitting your manuscript, please don't hesitate to contact us: iccvml@hotmail.com (Dr. Deng).

HOW TO SUBMIT

Submit to CVML 2024 using Microsoft CMT system HERE

Full paper submission
